DESCRIPTION

The MXR MX-142 Distortion II is a distortion pedal produced by MXR from 1979 to 1984. Emulates an overdriven amp pushing a 4x12 cabinet. Resonance control provides a 55Hz centered hump or passband, reminiscent of the Celestion G12-M speakers used in many Marshall cabinets. Bass-heavy or “woofy” tone, particularly when used with 4x12 cabinets and certain guitar/amp combinations

Digital download as a zip file that contains: (1) 22 TONEX pedal profile captures, (2) Instruction manual in PDF, (3) Parameter grid of all captures for professional music production and replicability. All profiles were created using advanced training and under controlled atmospheric conditions (Humidity 40%, Temperature 22°C / 72°F).
